Bundle up Monday because it will be cold on Long Island, with temperatures in the lower 30s, according to the National Weather Service.

Skies will be clear throughout the day Monday, but rain will be moving in at night, starting as a wintry mix on most of the Island, said Joe Pollina, a weather service meteorologist based in Upton. Little to no snow accumulation is expected.

Temperatures will rise changing it all to rain before daybreak Tuesday. Highs throughout the day are expected to be in the lower 40s, and rain will continue late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, he said.

Wednesday it's expected to dry up, with clear skies and highs in the lower 40s.

Thursday and Friday also are looking dry with “seasonable” temperatures in the middle- to upper-30s Thursday, and dropping to the lower 30s Friday, Pollina said.

Temperatures will stay in the lower 30s Saturday and there is a slight chance for a passing snow shower at night, he said.

Sunday is expected to be clear with temperatures in the lower- to mid-30s.
