Saturday may bring a touch of rain but the relatively high temperatures Long Island has enjoyed recently are expected to continue.
Saturday will be cloudy on the Island with a 20 percent chance of showers or sprinkles after noon with a high temperature near 45 degrees, the National Weather Service said Friday evening. A wind of around 6 mph should come out of the northwest.
Saturday evening there again will be a 20 percent chance of rain with a low temperature of around 33 degrees.
Sunday is Groundhog Dog and it's anyone's guess whether your local furry forecaster will see his or her shadow. The weather service forecasters just say Sunday will be partly sunny, with a high near 44.
The workweek looks to start out dry but there is a 50 percent chance of rain on Wednesday, 60 percent on Wednesday night and Thursday, 50 percent on Thursday night, and 40 percent on Friday.
High temperatures during the week will range for 53 degrees on Monday to 48 degrees on Friday, the weather service predicted.
