Wednesday, the first day of November, is bringing mostly cloudy skies, forecasters say, with temperatures heading up to around 58 degrees, which is normal for the day.

The overnight hours bring a slight chance for showers, to be followed Thursday with more cloudy skies but with temperatures looking to rise to around 70 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Conditions Friday are expected to be similar, with Saturday taking a dip back down to the upper 50s for highs.

Overall though, Rich Hoffman, News 12 Long Island meteorologist, was indicating, “temperatures above normal through most of the next 7 days.”
