Thursday was looking to start out with cloudy skies, gradually giving way to sun, the National Weather Service said

“A good amount of sunshine” is expected by afternoon, as temperatures climb to the mid-60s, according to the weather service office in Upton.

The sunshine follows Wednesday’s rain that gave way to fog, reducing visibility to less than a mile during the evening commute.

Clouds increase Thursday night ahead of a “fast-moving system” that the weather service said would bring more rain on Friday, which is to warm up to around 60 degrees.

Saturday is forecast to be partly sunny, with a high near 63 and a low around 43.

Sunday is to be mostly sunny, with a high near 57 and a low around 39.
