She is a teacher for the Lindenhurst school district and is the daughter of Maureen Matos of Deer Park. The bridegroom is a phone clerk for McNamara Options in Manhattan and is the son of Regina and Peter Mabanta of Deer Park. The bride earned a master of science in literacy from Dowling College. The groom earned a bachelor of science from Marist College. They live in Deer Park.
