Tara Cregg and Sean Powers were married July 8 at St. Christopher's Church in Baldwin. The reception was at Chateau Briand in Carle Place. The bride is a first-grade teacher for Wake County School District in North Carolina and is the daughter of Janet and Terrence Cregg of Oceanside. The bridegroom works for Captrust Financial in Raleigh, N.C., and is the son of Anne Powers of Glens Falls and the late Michael Powers. The bride and groom each earned bachelor's degrees from SUNY Cortland. They live in Raleigh.
