Weekend wedding for tenor Andrea Bocelli, Veronica Berti

Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli married Veronica Berti, his girlfriend of 12 years, Friday at the Sanctuary of Montenero in the coastal town of Livorno, Italy, People magazine reports. Bocelli, 55, and his longtime companion, 30, said they chose March 21 because it both signified the start of spring and was their daughter Virginia's second birthday. Among those attending the intimate ceremony were Bocelli's two sons, Amos, 19, and Matteo, 16, from his first marriage to Enrica Cenzatti. Bocelli and Cenzatti split in 2002.
