Nick Galasso scored five goals and had three assists and Drew Federico added three goals for West Islip in a 13-1 win over Farmingdale in the Long Island Class A championship game Tuesday night at Hofstra.

The top-ranked team in the nation looked like it, going up 5-0 at halftime and 11-0 at the end of the third quarter. Greg Catalano scored Farmingdale’s first goal with 6:04 left in the game.

West Islip (19-1) extended its win streak to 19 games and plays Lakeland-Panas in a state semifinal at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Hofstra. Nassau champion Farmingdale finishes 16-3.
