Westhampton Beach Village voters ousted three-term trustee Toni-Jo Birk and voted in newcomers Ralph Urban and Charles Palmer in an election Friday night.

Incumbent Mayor Conrad Teller ran unopposed and garnered 216 votes while Urban drew 252 votes and Palmer 190, edging out Birk by just two votes, according to Village Clerk Becky Molinaro.

There were only two open trustee seats and the term lasts two years.

Urban and Palmer ran on the Lightning Party line and promised better communication with residents while Birk, who ran on the Beach Party line, pledged to upgrade the village's infrastructure while maintaining prudent finances.
