The Village of Westhampton Beach today will hold its first public hearing on its budget for the upcoming fiscal year, which would raise property taxes just below the state’s 2 percent cap, trustee Charles A. Palmer said.
The village’s approximately $10 million budget would keep a hiring freeze on permanent employees in place, Palmer said.
The meeting will be 7 p.m. at Westhampton Beach Village Hall, 165 Mill Rd.
