Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center’s Gala Cocktail Party

On Friday, the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center is having a gala cocktail party fundraiser. Starr Boggs will cater cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. There will also be live music. This "Be Our Guest" party will be held at the private residence of WHBPAC Board President Len Conway on Seafield Lane in Westhampton. Tickets cost $150. Hamptons Social Series Dinner

It’s Friday and you know what that means -- another Hamptons Social Series Dinner. Animal Fair Magazine and Animalfair.com founder Wendy Diamond will be hosting the event. The night will benefit The Humane Society of New York, as well as celebrate Diamond’s birthday. There will be cocktails and dinner provided by Philippe Chow and music by Lee Kalt. The night will also include a midnight fashion show by Richie Rich and Pachi, celebrating the launch of ezipit.com. Socialite Tinsley Mortimer will be on hand to walk in the show. Guild Hall celebrates Barbara Kruger

Guild Hall Summer Gala is celebrating the Barbara Kruger exhibition this Friday. There will be cocktails, an exhibition preview, a dinner and a live auction. Tickets range from $50 to $25,000. Patron tickets start at $500 for cocktails and $1,200 for the entire evening. For junior patrons (21 to 40 years), tickets are $50 for cocktails and $300 for the entire evening. IndieWoman Magazine Launch Party

This Saturday, the East Hampton Library is having its sixth annual Authors Night. Founding chairman, Alec Baldwin, will join more than 100 distinguished authors to celebrate the night. "Real Housewives of New York City" stars Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Alex McCord and Jill Zarin will be there as well. The evening starts with an authors reception at 5 p.m., with hors d’oeuvres and wine. Following the reception will be dinner at 8 p.m., honoring the guest authors, including Bryan Batt of AMC's "Mad Men," "Sex and the City" author Candace Bushnell and model Beth Ostrosky Stern.Tickets for the reception cost $100 and tickets for the reception and dinner begin at $225. Right to Play and Urban Zen Foundation

In celebration of the International Humanitarian Organization, Right to Play and Urban Zen Foundation are hosting an event this Saturday. The Right to Play Day will feature four play stations, including a music station led by Alexa Ray Joel (seen here), and game and activity stations led by Right to Play Athlete Ambassadors, including Devon Harris (captain of the first Jamaican Olympic Bobsled team). Following the family play day, there will be an adult-only reception at 6 p.m. at Donna Karan’s Urban Zen Foundation. Admission is free. Strides for Life

On Sunday is the fifth annual Strides for Life event, benefiting the Lung Cancer Research Foundation. Supermodel Christy Turlington ran in the race last year.
