HOMECOMING SELECTIONS: The Central Islip Board of Education on Monday will continue discussions about adopting a homecoming king and queen selection policy after a female student was elected king last year. BUDGET HEARING: The Northport Village Board on Tuesday will hold a hearing and vote on the proposed 2014-15 budget. The $18,837,596 proposal is about $4.7 million more than this year’s budget The 6 p.m. meeting will be at Village Hall. Follow Mackenzie Issler’s Twitter updates at @mackissler.
