The official start of the Winter Games will include the lighting of the Olympic flame and the colorful parade of athletes. The 216-member U.S. team will be led by flag-bearer Mark Grimmette, a luger from Muskegon, Mich. He is the fourth American to compete at five Winter Olympics, and was voted the honor by his teammates. Watch for Smithtown's John Daly among the U.S. contingent.
