Despite the overcast day, opening weekend of the White Post Farms Fall Festival in Melville kicked off with a great start Saturday.
Kids and their parents enjoyed the petting zoo, bouncy houses and pumpkin patch.
"Feeding the goats milk out of a bottle is my favorite thing," said Hallie Strecker, 7, of Glen Cove. "They didn't have this last year, and I'm amazed they'll chew on the bottle for so long." Find out what more kids had to say.
The farm festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. everyday until Oct. 30 at White Post Farms, 250 Old Country Rd., Melville.
