The Fazios have lived in their two-bedroom, one-bath expanded ranch since 1993. The 1925 Arts and Crafts-style home is on an 82-by-60 lot and has central air-conditioning, in-ground sprinklers and glossy hardwood floors.

Maureen talks about her home:

"I love everything about this house. . . . I love all the windows. They have all been replaced with replicas of the original, except these have double panes. All the doorknobs are glass and original to the home. We redid the kitchen with real wood, cherry cabinets, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. . . . We converted the second floor from a stand-up attic to a loft, which can be used as a bedroom; it has a walk-in closet. There is an original archway between the living room and dining room, and the sconces on either side are also original.

The backyard is a haven. We have a deck and a shady area where we have a hammock. The Jacuzzi is surrounded by beautiful rose bushes. It's very private and quiet. . . . We can walk to the beach and walk to the library -- my two favorite places."
