Aaron Glenn said he is “still thinking about” how he will deploy his starters in the preseason finale on Friday night against the Giants.

“I will have an answer real soon,” he said on Monday.

Glenn, however, does not have any scheduled media availabilities remaining this week, so the secret may wait until kickoff.

Glenn did said he wants to “make sure I make the right decision” on who plays, but he also doesn’t want the players worrying about it.

“The only thing I want our guys focusing on right now is, man, getting to that next practice,” he said.

The Jets did a lot of high-contact situational work on Monday in what at times felt more like a scrimmage than a practice and Glenn noted that Tuesday’s workout will be “a real hard practice” too. If the Jets starters get solid work in during that event, there would seem to be a good chance that they rest on Friday.
