Willie Nelson to play LI as he turns 80

Willie Nelson celebrated his 80th birthday last night at the Hard Rock Café in Manhattan, but Long Islanders will be the ones getting presents from the country legend, Newsday's Glenn Gamboa reports. In addition to Nelson's sold-out show at NYCB Theatre at Westbury tonight, he is set to play a free show at The Surf Lodge in Montauk on Sunday night, as part of the venue's free summer concert series, which also includes Ra Ra Riot (June 22) and Father John Misty (July 28).
