Diane Trotta of Shirley recently received the Living the Mission Award from Catholic Health Services of Long Island for "exemplifying the values of respect, justice, integrity and excellence," the organization said. Trotta, who was nominated for the honor by her colleagues, has served the past four years as an executive assistant for Catholic Home Care, a nonprofit home health agency that serves Nassau and Suffolk counties. Before that, she worked at Pelican Realty Properties and spent 16 years with United Ceramic Tile.
