Inspector of the Year by HouseMaster, a home inspection franchise headquartered in New Jersey, for his service to local real estate professionals, attorneys and prospective property owners. Schaefer is a senior inspector in HouseMaster's Long Island region. He is also a member of the New York State Association of Home Inspectors and Metropolitan Association of Home Inspectors.
