Shahriyour Andaz, the director of thoracic oncology at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, is one of 36 physicians nationwide to receive an Outstanding Performance Award from the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer for his efforts as a liaison between the commission and the hospital's cancer program.
