Lyn D. Weiss of Jericho received the Dr. Frank L. Babott Memorial Award from the Alumni Association of the College of Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center for service to the medical profession. She is chair of the physical medicine and rehabilitation department at Nassau University Medical Center and a professor of clinical physical medicine and rehabilitation at Stony Brook University. She also is adjunct professor at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury.
