Christine Kolb

of Ronkonkoma has been named secretary of the year by the New York State Athletic Administrators Association for her contributions to athletics at the local level. Kolb is an administrative assistant at Cherokee Street Elementary School in Ronkonkoma. She is also a member of the St. Regis Knights of Columbus in Ronkonkoma and previously worked as a nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip and with Umpire & Control Services in West Babylon.
