Renovations at the Farmingville post office have been completed, with crews repairing the roof and other parts of the building, officials said.
The structure had deteriorated in the past few years, and an evaluation of the damage led to the hiring of a private contractor to make repairs.
Work to the exterior began last year with crews replacing the stucco portion of the building, resealing the roof and replacing the underside of the roof overhang, post office officials said.
Post office officials did not disclose how much the repairs cost.
