Workshop to help LI farmers, fishermen access capital, export
Accessing capital and exporting are the topics of a workshop Wednesday in Riverhead for farmers, fishermen and food businesses.
The free event, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., will feature representatives from federal and state agencies, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Long Island Development Corp., Suffolk County and lenders.
The workshop will be at the Riverhead campus of Suffolk County Community College, 121 Speonk Riverhead Rd. To register go to bit.ly/1K7db9O.
