Workshops for Nassau tax grievances planned

Residents interested in learning more about how to file tax grievances can attend workshops being sponsored by a Nassau County legislator.
Judi Bosworth (D-Great Neck) will hold the workshops on Jan. 31 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Clinton G. Martin Park in New Hyde Park; on Feb. 6 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Great Neck Senior Center; and on Feb. 13 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Munsey Park Elementary School in Manhasset.
The workshops are intended to inform residents about how properties are valued and how to appeal the assessed value of properties. For more information, contact Bosworth’s office at 516-571-6210.
