Morocco’s state news agency says 78 people were killed when a C-130 military transport plane crashed into a mountain amid rough weather.
The MAP news agency says three people survived. It said the plane was carrying 60 members of the military, 12 civilians and nine crew members.
Citing a Royal Armed Forces statement, MAP says the plane crashed 10 kilometers northeast of Guelmim in southern Morocco.
