WR Xavier Gipson, CB Nic Jones exchange blows
We have our first Giants practice skirmish of training camp. In one corner was receiver Xavier Gipson. In the other, cornerback Nic Jones.
Gipson and Jones exchanged blows after the last play of practice before they were separated by teammates. Coach John Harbaugh said afterward that he didn't know what set it off.
"I cannot wait to find out. It seemed like much ado about nothing to me," Harbaugh told reporters. "The guys were really ready to get up and get in the circle, so they picked him up and carried him over there. I'm sure it'll be fine. But I am looking forward to hearing the story."
The Giants are eight practices deep so it was inevitable something happened by now. Fortunately, nobody got hurt so it was just steam being blown off.
