Wrestlemania 27 predictions: 8-man tag team match

Alfonso: This one has all the makings of an opening match—if it doesn’t go on as the dark match. It’s amazing to think that, just a few months ago, Kane, Big Show and Wade Barrett were all bona fide main eventers. This is a throw-away bout with little reason to exist other than to give these guys a Mania pay day. I would have rather scene Kevin Nash get a spot in this match rather than Santino or Kozlov. The Corre picks up a clean win in a forgettable bout.

Pick: The Corre

Anthony: The Corre will get a clean, quick win over a mismatched team. If The Corre can’t beat those four guys than there is just no point in labeling them a dominate stable. I expect a big showing from Wade Barrett who needs the attention under the bright lights. Remember, this was a guy that was rumored to face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. Instead he gets Santino Marella. He needs to look dominate in the worst way.

Pick: The Corre

Seth: Corre will win to get them over as a faction. Not sure why Kozlov is in this match instead of Kingston. Congrats to Kane, by the way, on competing in his 14th consecutive Mania -- the record by far.
