Wrestlemania 27 predictions: U.S. title: Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan

Alfonso: These two have had surprisingly good chemistry together in the ring. I don’t expect this match to be given more than seven minutes or so, but you can be sure that both men will be motivated to make the most of every second. For Bryan, competing at WrestleMania is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. For Sheamus, a good performance could go a long way toward returning to the main event scene. I’ll pick Sheamus to retain in a solid, if short, match.

Pick: Sheamus

Anthony: Sheamus just won the title and has finally gotten back to looking like a dominate star again. He will retain the title. Bryan is stale and I don’t think the majority of the WWE fans really care about him anymore. He was cool when he returned last year after being fired from the WWE. That quickly faded. The quite, all-about-business guys just don’t capture the fan base. There are a few exceptions like Chris Benoit, but Bryan needs to shine a little more in the personality category.

Pick: Sheamus

Seth: Thinking they might do a quickie title change here for a little babyface pop. Could see it either way though.
