WWE SummerSlam 2017 will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Sunday, August 20, 2017. (Check out newsday.com's SummerSlam photos from this year, as well as 2015 and 2016.)
In the main event, Brock Lesnar will face Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Title.
The 2017 edition marks the 30th anniversary of WWE's summer classic, and will be part of four straight nights of pro wrestling at Barclays.
The night before SummerSlam, WWE's NXT developmental brand will hold a show, and on August 21 Monday Night Raw will be live at the Barclays Center. On Tuesday night, the WWE SmackDown brand will be at Barclays.
