Suffolk County Legis. DuWayne Gregory (D-Amityville) and community organizations are hosting a health fair this weekend in Wyandanch.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wyandanch Senior Nutrition Center.

Screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, body mass index, asthma and glaucoma will be available. Free CPR kits will also be given out, along with information to help residents make healthier decisions.

Students from SUNY Stony Brook medical and dental schools, local medical professionals, officials from the county’s Office of Minority Health, the not-for-profit Health Plus and community leaders will be available.

The nutrition center is at 28 Wyandanch Ave.
