Youth awards program seeks nominees

The Town of Brookhaven’s Youth Bureau and the Brookhaven Youth Board are seeking nominations for the town’s annual Volunteer Awards Ceremony, which recognizes the efforts of people and groups dedicated to helping young people in the area.

The awards program, now in its 31st year, has honored more than 500 volunteers during that time.

To nominate a group or individual, download the form here. You can also call the Youth Bureau at (631) 451-8011, or write to the Youth Bureau. The form must be returned by April 15 to the Brookhaven Youth Bureau, 1 Independence Hill, Farmingville, N.Y. 11738, Attn: Awards Committee.
