Long Island's own Zack Ryder and several other WWE Superstars will gather at MCU Park in Brooklyn on Wednesday, June 27, to help promote the Be a STAR initiative.

Ryder will be joined by Natalya, Mark Henry, Lilian Garcia and WWE Executive Vice President Stephanie McMahon at the ballpark, located at 1904 Surf Avenue in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn. The event starts at 6:30 p.m.

Representatives from the Council for Unity, Inc., National High School Coaches Association, National Voices for Equality Education and Enlightenment, GLAAD, Stomp Out Bullying and United Federation of Teachers will also be on hand to talk about various ways to address bullying among children.

Be a STAR, which stands for Show Tolerance And Respect, is an initiative put together by WWE and the Creative Coalition "with the mission of ensuring a positive and equitable social environment for everyone regardless of age, race, religion or sexual orientation through grassroots efforts, beginning with education and awareness," according to WWE.
