This is a big week as far as the regular-season league championships are concerned in Nassau and Suffolk. There are four No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchups, two in each county.

In Suffolk Division II, Comsewogue (10-0 overall, 9-0 in league), hosts Shoreham-Wading River (8-1, 8-2) on Tuesday night at 7 o’clock. In Division I, first-place West Islip (11-1, 9-1) and winners of 11 straight since an opening-day loss, hosts second-place Ward Melville (9-1, 7-1) on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

In Nassau B-I, Wantagh (5-0, 11-1) hosts second-place Division (4-0, 10-0) on Wednesday at 4:45 p.m. Then next Saturday night, there’s a duel of unbeaten schools that will determine first place in Conference IV as Manhasset (6-0, 10-0) hosts Cold Spring Harbor (6-0, 12-0) at 6 p.m.
