This press release from Longwood School District caught our attention this week. With the holiday season in full swing, we were struck by this Coram kindergartener's generosity:

Anthony DeLutio, a student in Kim Butler’s kindergarten class at Coram Elementary School, is thanked by his teacher and Principal Vaughn Denton for his generosity. When Anthony won the Coram Fire Department’s Fire Prevention Poster Contest, he was awarded a $25 gift card to Toys R Us. Anthony purchased two board games and two puzzles that he donated to the school’s toy drive. “He said he believed it was better to give students in need a special toy, rather than to keep all of the money himself,” Ms. Butler said. Anthony’s act of kindness truly brightened someone’s day, just like the poster outside his classroom, above, suggests.

Way to go Anthony.
