Gary Johnson is back and ready to fight the Commission on Presidential Debates

Gary Johnson is back, baby!!!
Okay, so maybe you hadn’t noticed he was missing, but the 2012 Libertarian Party presidential candidate announced Wednesday he will again seek the office in 2016, a move he told me in an interview in 2012 was the plan all along.
Four years ago, Johnson said he was committed to a two-election process as a way of building momentum. In 2012, the former two-term New Mexico governor garnered almost 1.3 million votes, a record for the party.
But what’s most important about Johnson in this race is his continuing crusade against the Commission on Presidential Debates, which makes it incredibly difficult for third-party candidates to make the stage in general election debates.
Johnson, along with 2012 Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein, have an ongoing case in the courts on debate access.
That’s largely what I interviewed him about for my column in 2012, and it continues to be an abomination that needs fixing.
