Letter: Mailer a mockery of recycling

I too received the mailing ["Errant NYC mailing asks LIers to recycle trash," News, July 3], and I'm from Suffolk. It was a waste of money and a waste of paper in the misdirected effort to conserve.

What I found most amusing is that the Bloomberg administration used a Florida direct-mail company to send the mailing; it had a St. Petersburg mailing code. If you are going to waste money, at least try to waste it in your own community.
