Letter: What next at the top of Suffolk County’s government?

What in the world is going on here in Suffolk County?
County Executive Bellone called Suffolk District Attorney Thomas Spota the “head of a criminal enterprise” and demanded his resignation [“Democrats’ house divided,” News, June 5].
Yet, the district attorney continues business as usual.
As a citizen and taxpayer of this county, I demand a clarification of this mess.
Either Spota is the “head of a criminal enterprise” and must resign, or Bellone has made unfounded allegations and, if so, he must resign.
