There are plenty of possibilities for this South Jamesport home, said listing agent Susan Orioli, of Engel & Völkers North Fork. The Queen Anne Colonial is on the market for $2.279 million, with taxes of $13,137.
"It's a legal two-family home," Orioli said, "so that makes it stand out not only for its beautiful architecture, but that the two-family status is rare on the North Fork. It's a good option for extended family, or even income potential."

The South Jamesport Avenue home has six bedrooms, four full bathrooms and two half-baths. Built in 1913, the home is two blocks from Great Peconic Bay. It totals 4,500 square feet, on a 0.75-acre lot.
The seller made several updates to the home over the last two years, Orioli said. That includes upgrades to the electricity, alarm system, driveway and the addition of a pickleball court. There are two dining areas, and one of the kitchens has been renovated with new appliances.

There are also many original details, including moldings, coffered ceilings and columns throughout the home, the agent said. There is a spacious parking area in the back of the property, and a covered wrap-around porch spanning 950 square feet.

"That goes the span of the home, which is really beautiful," Orioli said.
The house is in the Riverhead Central School District.
"Homes like this rarely come to the market," the agent said.
