Fashion designer and Long Island native Michael Kors has listed his Fire Island property, which includes two structures, for $6.25 million. The taxes are $18,253, and the HOA fee is $1,200.

Located in the Water Island community, his property encompasses two parcels, totaling nearly a quarter of an acre.

The listing is held by Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty, represented by agents Nathaniel Larson and Margaret Smith. They could not be immediately reached for comment.

The architecture was spearheaded by Scott Bromley, who is also known for designing Studio 54 in Manhattan. The main house features one bedroom and 1½ bathrooms, totaling 2,100 square feet. Next door, the guest house includes four bathrooms and four bedrooms, and spans 1,500 square feet.

Notable details include an in-ground pool, floor-to-ceiling windows and 200 feet of "unobstructed Atlantic Ocean frontage," according to the listing.

Kors bought the property in 2001 for $950,000 and later expanded it, property records show.

The entrepreneur was born in Mineola and raised in Merrick. His fashion brand is known for its clothing, accessories and footwear for men and women.

There are Michael Kors stores and outlets in Deer Park, Riverhead, Manhasset and Garden City.
