A 190-year-old home in Port Jefferson is on the market for $785,000. The taxes are $13,787.
Built in 1835, the house is on Bleeker Street, sharing the corner with East Broadway.
"It's been really lovingly restored and kept up," said listing agent Lynn Sabatelle, of Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty.

In the 1800s, the front entrance of the home faced East Broadway. It has since been closed off and revamped, with some classic details still intact, the agent said.
"The staircase leads up from that front little foyer that's now just a hallway," Sabatelle said. "And the entire staircase is original, which is really pretty."
The house boasts four bedrooms and three bathrooms, totaling 2,000 square feet. It sits on a 0.12-acre lot in the Port Jefferson School District.

Some features have been added to the home "in the style of the original build," Sabatelle said — for example, pocket doors with moldings to match the ones that have remained around the windows.
The home has central air conditioning and natural gas heating systems. Other standout features include a wood-burning fireplace, a covered front porch, outdoor deck and seasonal views of Port Jefferson Harbor.

Additionally, the property offers ample parking, creating an opportunity to explore the nearby village without a car.
"This house has a detached one-car garage and a really long driveway that can fit four, five, maybe even 6 cars," Sabatelle said. "That's a big plus to this house."
