An antique Sea Cliff bungalow has been "curated with a lot of curiosities" by its artist owners, said listing agent Vivian Parisi, of Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty. It's now on the market for $699,000, with taxes of $12,701.
Built in 1888, the home was revamped aesthetically and mechanically by the sellers during their 3½ years living there, Parisi said.
"I had sold the house to them from the other owner," she said. "They really transformed this little corner piece of property. It feels like you just landed upstate."
The house sits on Park Place, totaling 1,025 square feet. It contains two bedrooms and 1½ bathrooms. The property is in the North Shore Central School District.

Rooms are dressed in hues of blue; some with vaulted ceilings and others with built-in shelves and ornate lighting fixtures. Highlights include a wood-burning stove (which looks original but was purchased by the sellers, Parisi said), an intricately crafted banister, a wraparound porch, a detached garage and restored windows on the second floor.

Additionally, the cesspool was updated in 2023 and a new boiler and hot water heater were installed in 2021, said Parisi.

Although the design and decor were updated in recent years, "nothing looks like it happened yesterday," said the agent, because the artistic additions are in step with the style of the home.
"You're getting these really sweet details, and you just feel the warmth and the love in the house," Parisi said.
