A four-bed, three-bath house on Little Bay in Setauket is on the market for $2.35 million. Taxes on the 1.5-acre parcel, which falls within the Three Village Central School District, total $36,008.
Most of the home's rooms — including the den, kitchen, primary bedroom and an office space — have water views, said listing agent Susan Falvey, of Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty. The primary bedroom has a private balcony that offers a panoramic view of the bay, she said.
"The basement even has views of the bay," Falvey said of the partially finished, walk-out level.

Though property records show the Youngs Lane home was built in 1966 and at one time measured 3,316 square feet, Falvey said the house was renovated in 2004 and now totals 4,000 square feet.
"It's on 200 feet of waterfront property," Falvey said. "It's really nice for kayaking and paddleboarding."

The homeowners pay a mandatory fee of $150 annually for rights to a nearby beach with a boat ramp, Falvey said, adding that flood insurance is not required.
Among interior details are a gas-fueled dual fireplace that serves the office and the den, as well as a wood-burning fireplace in the living room. In the office, which has a door leading to a deck, stone surrounds the fireplace and extends to the ceiling.
From the backyard, Falvey said, the homeowners do not see the neighbors.
"It's very peaceful," she said. "And private."
