Westbury house for sale had kitchen, bathroom upgrades in 2022

On its face, a buttermilk-yellow house on Floral Lane in Westbury looked deceptively modest to listing agent Aurelie "Lily" Boudon. But a rear extension to the home changed the calculation for her.

"When you just see the outside, you will not expect the size to be so big inside," said Boudon, who owns TDG Elite Realty. "The back has a beautiful family room that really makes the whole difference for this house."

The four-bed, two-bath home, which property records show is 1,125 square feet, is on the market for $799,000. Taxes on the 0.14-acre property, which falls within the Westbury Union Free School District, total $9,998.

"I was really impressed with the fact that the house is so spacious," Boudon said.

The extension leads out to the backyard and predates the current owners, Boudon said. More recent renovations, which Boudon said date back just a few years, include fresh paint and new windows throughout the home. The 2022 project also brought updates to the kitchen — new appliances, countertop and cabinets — and upstairs bathroom, according to Boudon.

Built in 1948, according to property records, the house has baseboard and oil heating systems and does not have central air conditioning. There are security cameras and a shed on the property, but not a garage, Boudon said.

On each of the home's two levels, there are two bedrooms and one bathroom, the listing shows. In the front living and dining area, Boudon said, decorative white beams run across the ceiling.

"The house is renovated, so they can just move in," Boudon said of a hypothetical buyer.
