Over the past 10 years, the Yankees have played 26 doubleheaders. Heading into Wednesday's doubleheader against the Blue Jays at Yankee Stadium, the Yanks have a 36-16 record in those games during that time span.

The Yankees are 25-9 at home and 11-7 on the road in doubleheaders dating back to 2002. They also tend to fare slightly better in the first game (19-7) than in the second game (17-9).

The Bombers love to break out the brooms in day-night splits; they've swept doubleheaders 11 times. The only opponent that managed to sweep the Yankees was (of course) the Boston Red Sox on Sept. 17, 2006 at Yankee Stadium.

Wednesday's matchup marks the first time in the past 10 years that the Yankees and Blue Jays will play against one another in a doubleheader.
