Andy Pettitte and Joe Torre will once again be wearing the same uniform.

Pettitte has agreed to play this spring in the World Baseball Classic for Team USA, according to a CBS Sports report, reuniting him with his former Yankees manager.

The provisional roster will not be officially announced until Thursday. Yankees general manager Brian Cashman refused to confirm the report.

"Who is playing and for what teams will be announced by MLB or individual players," Cashman said, adding that the tournament is "fully sanctioned by all clubs."

Pettitte will reportedly be joined on the team by Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira and Mets third baseman David Wright.

Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano is reportedly set to play for the Dominican Republic while catcher Francisco Cervelli is in line to compete for Italy.

Pettitte, 40, will pitch in his 18th big-league season after last year's comeback from retirement was interrupted by a leg injury. He last pitched for Torre when both were on the Yankees in 2007. The left-hander will reportedly be joined on the staff by former Mets  knuckleballer R.A. Dickey.

The tournament begins on March 2, though Team USA's first game is on March 8 against Mexico at Chase Field in Phoenix.
