Baez wins 100th as Ducks split

Ray Navarrete went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and four runs scored, and he reached base for the 20th straight game Saturday as the host Ducks cruised to a 17-3 win over the York Revolution in the first game of an Atlantic League doubleheader.
Kevin Baez earned his 100th win as Ducks manager.
With the victory, the second-year coach improved to 100-60.
Reid Gorecki went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBIs, and Wilberto Ortiz and Bryant Nelson each had two hits and three RBIs.
Jason Monti (4-1) struck out four and allowed one unearned run and two hits over six innings for the win.
Former Mets closer Armando Benitez made his first appearance as a Duck in the top of the seventh inning, but was shaky as he gave up two runs, two hits and a walk in an inning of work.
York starter Yunior Novoa (1-4) was tagged for eight runs and nine hits over four innings.
The Revolution took a 1-0 lead on a run-scoring single in the top of the second by Andres Perez.
The Ducks evened the score in the bottom of the inning on a sacrifice fly by Ortiz.
The Ducks broke it open with a six-run third to take a 7-1 lead. Ortiz had a two-run double and Nelson, Shawn Williams and Dan Lyons each had an RBI hit in the inning.
Ducks lose Game 2. Shawn Hill struck out seven and scattered four hits through 61/3 innings as York (16-19) topped the Ducks, 6-1, in the nightcap. James Shanks had a hit and two RBIs for York.
The Ducks are 22-14.
Nelson accounted for the Ducks' only run with a solo home run. Navarrete went 1-for-4 and reached base for the 21st straight game.
