Throwing out the first pitch -- when the political and sports worlds collide.
It's a time-honored tradition for politicians to throw out the first pitch before meaningful baseball games (Opening Day, playoffs, etc...). Sometimes it's a strike. Sometimes...not so much.
Below are videos of numerous politicians attempting the task, including President Barack Obama and former President George W. Bush. We couldn't find any videos of 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney throwing out a first pitch, so to make up for it, we have footage of some of his primary season challengers (Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul).
