SAN FRANCISCO -- The jury at the Barry Bonds trial reheard parts of a secretly recorded 2003 conversation between the slugger's trainer and ex-business partner on Friday afternoon.

A juror had asked for a full transcript of the conversation between Greg Anderson and Steve Hoskins, but U.S. District Judge Susan Illston refused to provide it because one wasn't introduced into evidence.

Instead, Illston had the parts of the recording that were played for the jury during the trial played for them again. Prosecutors claim the two men are discussing how Anderson injected Bonds with steroids.

Jurors began deliberations Friday, a day after the 12-day trial ended.

Bonds is accused of lying to a grand jury in 2003 when he said he never took performance-enhancing drugs and no one but his doctors gave him an injection.
