.905 - OPS at Rangers Ballpark for Manny Ramirez, who signed this past week after leaving Taiwan. Of the 18 stadiums where Ramirez has at least 20 at-bats, that’s his third-lowest OPS. Comerica Park is at the bottom (.784). Ramirez has a career .996 OPS in 19 seasons.
42 - Days between starts for Mark Appel, the No. 1 overall pick in last month's draft, who made his pro debut Friday for Tri-City, the Astros' short-season Class A affiliate. Appel allowed a leadoff triple, gave up three hits to the first four batters and threw only 26 pitches because of the long layoff.
21 - Home runs for 41-year-old Raul Ibanez, who is now the oldest player to hit at least 20 homers before the All-Star break. That tied Dave Winfield for fifth place -- for an entire season -- for most homers by a player 41 or older. Ted Williams holds the record with 29 homers in 1960.
17 - Starts between no-hitters for Homer Bailey, who threw his second one Tuesday night against the Giants before any other pitcher could beat him to it. The last to accomplish that feat was Nolan Ryan, according to STATS, who did it to the Twins (Sept. 28, 1974) and Orioles (June 1, 1975).
13 - Hits for Jose Reyes in 10 games since his return from a severe ankle sprain that cost him 10 weeks on the disabled list. Reyes has more homers (two) than stolen bases (one) during that stretch and has scored eight runs.
